I received word from the International today that a bunch of new member's cards were mailed on Saturday. They'll be here before the next meeting. Please plan on attending the 2010 1st Quarter meeting or the Advanced Auto Extrication class to get your card. I will not mail the card to you. Active members are active in chapter functions.

So...if you submitted an application and received an email receipt from me between the months of August and November, then your card should be in this stack.

Aaron Fields...you, too, should be in this stack.

Status report on membership cards...

Ellen Brown has come out of retirement. Yes...again. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time since she started working with the International. Anyways...she has taken over Memberships and has been working hard to get things caught up. I spoke with her just the other night to confirm our current roster, deletions, transfers, and recent applicants. I guess she had printed off some 400 plus cards this past week alone, all of which still need to be laminated.

If you mailed in an application before our last chapter meeting, your card is coming. I'm hoping to get them before the meeting on August 7th. I will not be at the meeting; however, I will pass them off to the executive board to pass out.
