We were asked to teach a mayday class at the college again this year. The date is Aug. 31st. It is a large class and many instructors are needed... this is a good chance for some new guys to step up and participate ... Please let me know if you are interested in helping by Thurs. Aug 5th. Thanks

I will keep you posted on exactly what we need for that day. What I really need is someone who has done the class before to take the lead on this one. As soon as I find out who that is I will have more info.

Hey, all you lurkers who have had one of our classes and now you jump on here and see what we're up to...I'm talking to you! If you're free on the 31st we could use an extra hand teaching this Mayday class. Don't worry, you won't have to stand up in front of a bunch of strangers and make a presentation, just jump in with one of our other instructors and lend a hand. This looks like a big class, so the more instructors we have the smoother it will go. Derrick - I'm in man, lets train!

I can take the lead if no one else has a burning desire to.

I have the props at my place and they are not in real good shape. Anyone have time to rework some of them before the class?

You brothers can use our props if you need to. Entanglement, roof collapse, and wall breech. Let me know.

I'll be more than happy to help out and would be very interested in getting involved with future classes to. I know a couple of our other instructors who are FOOLS would like to help to. Just let me know what you need. As the recruit academy coordinator for SPSCC, I'm looking real forward to having the Mayday training for the recruits again.....all 32 of them. A big recruit class this year. Thanks to everyone able to help out with this class!

What time do you normally start class up there Casey? Sounds like we will have enough props and instructors to maybe double up on the Hands On portion and get throught the day at a normal rate... At this time Snyder is taking the lead on this class. I will be there and am helping coordinate the personnel. Chadly, get with me soon to discuss the prop issue.

We start our day at 0830 after pt/roll call/inspections. But, I had been planning on an 0900 start. Does that work or what are your thoughts? Also, as far as set-up, we have the large apparatus bay at Station 91 (125 Delphi Road NW) that we can use and we also have two training structures that we are currently using not far from the station on Mud Bay. We could use both if you'd like or if you wanted to take a look. Also, we have two Denver props that could be used as well. Let me know what your needs will be, 360-239-3043. We're really looking forward to this training! Very disappointed that the FE training scheduled later in the week was cancelled by our Chiefs due to funding issues. Casey
