The 2010 Pioneer Square Fire Festival is scheduled to be held on July 10, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Occidental Square Park. All Seattle Fire Department members and their families are invited to attend. The annual festival commemorates the 1889 fire that destroyed most of downtown Seattle and gave rise to the historic Pioneer Square District neighborhood. This year the Fire Festival will feature antique fire trucks from the Last Resort Fire Department, vintage police cars, live mural painting, and other fun family activities. The Seattle Firefighters Pipes & Drums band will perform. For more information visit: http://www.lastresortfd.org/Fire_Festival-09.htm. Date: Saturday, July 10, 2010 Time: 11:00am - 5:00pm
